Audrey Francis

Hey everyone, I'm Audrey. I'm a writer and illustrator. I focus mainly on comic creation, although I dabble in short stories and novels. Like most romance comic authors, I was inspired by Japanese shoujo manga; some of my favorites are HoriMiya, Princess Jellyfish, and Ouran High School Host Club. I plan on self publishing my debut comic, Pretend to Love Me--a romance between two childhood friends pretending to date each other--on Webtoon canvas by 2026.

My goal as a writer isn't just to create stories that are entertaining, but stories that can truly touch the hearts of my readers. I don't care much for success or money. That's not what it's about for me. I would keep writing even if no one read my work. But I love my stories so much that I want to share them with others, because I want others to love them just as much as I do.

Outside of writing and illustrating, I spend my time at church or in God's word, strengthening my relationship with my Heavenly Father. My relationship with God is an important factor in my life and it reflects in the way that I write. That does not mean that my writing is inherently Christian writing. I do not make Christian comics, I make comics and I am a Christian. Anyone can read my comics and enjoy them.
